Job summary

Experts Group International is hiring a Direct Commodity Buyer to lead the resins category across three North American manufacturing sites. You will own the sourcing strategy, manage spend, and collaborate with operations, engineering and program teams to realize savings and value.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in purchasing/procurement, strong negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of resin markets and commodity management.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of purchasing or procurement experience, with direct materials and resins preferred.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts with global suppliers.
• Strong understanding of resin markets and commodity risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own the direct resins commodity across three North American sites, managing an annual spend of $50M-$100M.
• Develop and execute commodity and supplier strategies aligned with budget, cost and program objectives.
• Monitor resin markets, feedstock pricing and index movements, and communicate trends and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Negotiate pricing, index-based agreements, payment terms, delivery requirements and long-term supply contracts with suppliers.
