Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in the United States seeks a Research Program Manager to direct and oversee a portfolio of DoD research programs. You will coordinate schedules, manage budgets, and engage with sponsors and stakeholders to shape technical direction and milestones.

The role requires strong program management experience, DoD acquisition knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while delivering high-quality project deliverables within schedule and budget

Competenze

• Program management or leadership experience in DoD programs.
• Experience managing complex DoD DoD R&D programs.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes including milestone reviews.
• Experience with budget management and financial tracking.
• Ability to prepare and deliver technical briefings to senior leadership and government sponsors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.

• Oversee technical government programs of medium risk and complexity.
• Ensure resources such as engineering expertise, manpower, production, and facilities are available.
• Build multi-disciplinary teams across the organization.
• Plan, direct, and monitor program budgets and serve as primary sponsor contact.
• Oversee delivery of project deliverables.
• Author and contribute to project deliverables.
• Coordinate schedules, briefing materials, minutes and logistics for project meetings.
• Direct program growth by proposing new ideas to sponsors and marketing new technology or follow-on opportunities.
• Present GTRI capabilities to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with program development leads and support units on large proposals.
