Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking a Research Program Manager within the Applied Systems Laboratory to oversee a portfolio of DoD research programs, managing budgets, schedules, and technical direction. The role involves coordinating with Army, USAF, Navy, Space Force, and other DoD offices, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on program milestones.

Qualifications

Experience managing complex DoD research and development programs.
Experience translating technical statements of work into executable program plans.
Ability to prepare and deliver technical briefings to senior leadership and government sponsors.
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes including program milestone reviews.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

Oversee a portfolio of ASL research programs including management of budgets and schedules.
Coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders to define technical directions and program objectives.
Direct program growth by proposing new ideas and pursuing follow-on opportunities.
Ensure resources including personnel, facilities, and infrastructure are available for programs.
Prepare and contribute to project deliverables and briefings.
