Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a proactive Pre‑Award Administrator to manage federal, industry and foundation sponsored research proposals.

You will work with principal investigators, develop budgets, coordinate timelines, and ensure compliance with sponsor and institutional policies. The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of award administration experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with proposal

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of research award administration required.
• Experience with computer-based proposal management systems, databases and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance, cost accounting standards, indirect cost rate application, FAR and CFR required.
• Ability to work independently managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Assist principal investigators in preparing applications for funding, including budget development.
• Develop detailed proposal checklists and timelines to manage workflows.
• Coordinate with Office of Sponsored Programs to ensure sponsor compliance and timely submissions.
• Lead negotiations and retain documentation for sub-awards/subcontracts when applicable.
• Produce annual federal/sponsor progress reports and support required reporting.
