Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Inventory Planner to support replenishment and inventory accuracy across channels. You will analyze replenishment reports, adjust stock levels, and collaborate with Buyers, DCs, and store teams to meet customer demand.

The role requires Associate's degree or equivalent, 2+ years in inventory management or replenishment, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle Retail applications.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2+ years of related experience in inventory management, merchandise planning, or replenishment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory positions across channels and ensure products are available to meet customer demand.
• Analyze replenishment reports, identify imbalances, and adjust inventory levels to support sales and service goals.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Planners, store teams, and DCs to align receipt flow, stock levels, and replenishment parameters with sales expectations.
• Manage purchase orders, oversee supplier lead times, and maintain replenishment parameters to ensure items flow efficiently through the network.
• Facilitate store communication, support seasonal and promotional inventory planning, and ensure documentation and internal controls are maintained.
