Job summary

Hogan Transportation in Taylor, MI is seeking a Rental Sales Manager to drive the sales and operations of our commercial truck rental product line at the Detroit area branch. You will develop new commercial rental accounts, manage client relationships, and help shape pricing strategies while supporting day-to-day rental activities across the region.

This role requires 2+ years of sales or leadership experience, strong communication, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to develop positive business relationships.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new commercial rental accounts.
• Sell the value of the commercial truck rental product line.
• Prospect (cold call), propose and sign new business.
• Grow, cultivate, and nurture a book of business relationships.
• Manage rental accounts and customer concerns.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products and prices.
• Mitigate risk and solve unique problems.
• Develop sales leads for the contractual product lines (e.g., full-service lease, contract maintenance, etc.)
• Works with and assists other Hogan sales personnel to maximize the branch’s financial performance.
• Support rental location, including rental counter activities as needed.
• Executes the company’s sales and marketing strategies.
• Other duties as assigned.
