Job summary

Standard Solar in Rockville, MD is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support maintenance, restoration, and service projects across an asset portfolio. You will drive contractors, coordinate site access, manage documentation, and track progress to meet schedules and service expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 1–3 years in project/asset management, engineering, analytics, or operations.
• Strong understanding of project performance metrics, contractor performance metrics, service KPIs, and schedule adherence.
• Experience with database systems, CRM, and CMMS; ability to learn inverter monitoring platforms and renewable energy ops tech.
• Proficiency in database, project management, Microsoft Excel, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service requests and operational projects from initiation through closeout.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient work within timelines.
• Handle site access, scheduling, logistics, procurement, and project deliverables for successful execution.
• Monitor progress and communicate status, risks, delays, and actions to stakeholders.
• Track milestones and closeout activities in CMMS and ensure timely completion.
• Support emergency response and restoration efforts for outages and operational events.
• Maintain contractor records, insurance, safety documentation, and compliance in CMMS/CRM/PMO.
• Review contractor updates and escalate performance concerns or blockers.
• Assist in scope development, work order administration, and procurement tracking.
