Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic and analytical Supply Chain Optimization Manager to lead remote optimization efforts across procurement, production, logistics and distribution. You will identify bottlenecks, develop data-driven strategies, and drive improvements for a resilient end-to-end supply chain.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in supply chain, advanced analytics, and proven success implementing optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management and optimization.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful supply chain optimization strategies.
• Expertise in supply chain modeling, analytics, and performance management.
• Proficiency in ERP, WMS, TMS and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading remote teams and global supply chains is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the current supply chain network to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory levels, logistics, and supplier performance.
• Lead projects focused on enhancing supply chain visibility, efficiency, and agility.
• Utilize data analytics, modeling, and simulation tools to evaluate and improve supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, procurement, sales, IT) and external partners to drive supply chain initiatives.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of optimization efforts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.
• Manage and mentor a team of supply chain analysts and specialists.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the supply chain.
• Communicate findings, strategies, and progress to senior management.
