Job summary

iVoyant seeks an experienced Application Program Manager / Release Manager to support a large-scale modernization program for a government client in Louisiana. The role focuses on release management, deployment coordination, and technology delivery across multiple concurrent releases.

The candidate will coordinate development, QA, UAT, and technical teams, lead release planning, and ensure smooth execution with documented processes and clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of release management, deployment coordination, or related delivery work.
• ITIL certification.
• Strong understanding of release and deployment processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the release calendar and coordinate release schedules across multiple projects.
• Define and enforce release management processes, including readiness criteria and rollback plans.
• Partner with Development, QA, and UAT teams to confirm scope, sequencing, dependencies, and readiness.
• Lead release planning and go/no-go meetings.
• Communicate risks, dependencies, issues, and critical items to stakeholders before deployment.
• Coordinate deployment activities across Development, Test, Staging, and Production environments.
• Maintain release documentation including release notes and change logs.
• Identify and mitigate release risks and escalate issues impacting timelines or commitments.
• Support post-release monitoring and timely resolution of issues after go-live.
• Improve release management templates and practices for consistency across engagements.
• Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders during critical release activities.
