Job summary

mPower Inc. is seeking a well-rounded IT Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex IT programs from planning through implementation. You will oversee scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives.

The ideal candidate brings strong PM expertise, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional teams, including federal government contracts and cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing IT projects or programs including complex initiatives.
• PMP certification is required.
• Experience managing a Federal Government IT services contract.
• Experience with schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments incl. infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and ITSM.
• Experience with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects.
• Build relationships with Government customers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Anticipate customer needs and address program challenges.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and metrics.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Coordinate activities across technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Provide status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
• Ensure projects meet requirements and quality standards.
• Lead project meetings and stakeholder discussions.
• Mentor project managers and technical leads.
• Support IT modernization, cloud initiatives, and cybersecurity projects.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and PM standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and service delivery.
• Manage vendor and contractor performance and outcomes.
