Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee reimbursement and administrative coordination within the department. You will supervise staff, coordinate with the Program Manager, and manage daily workflows to ensure timely reimbursement support and adherence to SOPs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in reimbursement/insurance and 3-5 years of supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit methods and payer processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2 years of reimbursement/insurance, healthcare billing, physician office, or health insurance processing, or 4 years with a High School diploma.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred with progressive levels of responsibility in a service-driven environment.
• Extensive knowledge of pharmacy benefit methodologies and payer payment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance management including coaching, mentoring, and evaluating subordinates.
• Act as liaison between Program Manager and Team; keep management informed of all program aspects.
• Plan daily schedules, assign tasks, and ensure daily goals are met.
• Submit daily/weekly productivity reports; manage reimbursement support per the scope of services.
• Identify unmet needs and drive internal process improvements and workflow efficiency.
• Provide guidance on coverage and reimbursement issues to patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain relationships with patients and healthcare providers; liaison to client contacts.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and participate in audits and quality assurance activities.
