Job summary

Urban Farmer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Central and West regions to drive growth and expand distribution across retail and foodservice channels. You will align field execution with corporate priorities, leveraging data-driven insights and strong broker relationships to maximize profitability.

The role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage complex agreements while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive sales experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or retail environments.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and manage key distributor and broker relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, category reports, and syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen).
• Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent) and data visualization/ reporting tools.
• Travel up to 50% within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive annual regional sales plans aligned with growth objectives and revenue targets.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across strategic accounts, distributors, and foodservice operators in Central and Western markets.
• Define regional sales goals, pricing strategies, and customer development plans to drive margin expansion and category leadership.
• Collaborate with VP of Sales Strategy and Insights teams to create data-driven selling stories.
• Lead trade spend and promotional planning for assigned customers with ROI alignment.
• Translate category insights into actionable market strategies to strengthen brand positioning.
