Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales or customer-facing sales engineering experience within industrial manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency using SAP or other ERP systems.
• Excellent English communication, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proven and successful presentation skills.
• Technical ability and understanding.
• Ability to travel up to 40–50%, primarily domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Sales Account Manager and representative voice of the customer within MANN+HUMMEL.
• Act as the main interface with the customer for all commercial topics, maintaining relationships across purchasing and engineering.
• Analyze market and competitive conditions and develop action plans, including marketing activities, to support sales targets.
• Conduct face-to-face sales with new and existing customers, identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare sales opportunities by establishing customer intimacy and identifying leads based on requirements.
• Assess customer needs and recommend products, services, and solutions.
• Develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Develop long-term sales plans to protect, grow, and diversify relationships.
• Coordinate customer-specific projects across pricing, technical, commercial, legal, and timing-related dimensions.
• Submit quotations and negotiate pricing; negotiate customer-specific contracts with the legal department.
