Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking a Buyer to restock our New England regional warehouses. You will manage purchasing from demand through disposition, coordinating with domestic and import vendors and using AS400 and Blue Yonder for inventory tracking.

This is a Monday–Friday day role based in West Boylston, MA. Key tasks include monitoring inventory across multiple warehouses, communicating with manufacturers on orders and timelines, and driving cost and KPI improvements while collaborating with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of purchasing experience preferred.
International/Import buying experience preferred.
Ability to analyze data with Microsoft Excel to drive decisions.
Knowledge of AS400 or Blue Yonder systems.
Experience in demand planning, purchasing, freight, or warehousing.
Proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels and optimize warehouse space usage.
Communicate with global manufacturers and suppliers about orders, inventory and timelines.
Support sourcing through product selection and development.
Monitor pricing, terms and KPIs with suppliers.
Collaborate with purchasing, operations, warehouse, finance and sales teams.
Negotiate with suppliers on price, availability, lead time and freight.
