Job summary

Harrington Process Solutions seeks a Regional Buyer to support our Florida locations, ensuring inventory is aligned with business needs. You’ll partner with Purchasing, Operations, Demand Planning, branch teams, and suppliers to manage replenishment and tackle supply challenges before they affect customers.

You’ll review Min/Max levels, purchasing forecasts, lead times, and open orders, while identifying opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and service levels across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of purchasing, buying, inventory, or supply chain experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across several locations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build productive supplier and internal relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage replenishment and stock purchase orders for assigned product lines.
• Review inventory levels and identify opportunities for transfers between locations.
• Partner with Demand Planning to review Min/Max levels and purchasing forecasts.
• Monitor open purchase orders, supplier lead times, and delivery dates and expedite orders when needed.
• Help identify potential stock additions, reductions, excess inventory, and supply risks.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve pricing, quantity, delivery, and invoice discrepancies.
• Support vendor-managed and consigned inventory programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory availability, service levels, and cost.
