Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in medical office, call center, patient access, or customer service required.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process signed physician orders/referrals to ensure accurate clinical documentation for care delivery, specialty and outpatient ancillary referrals.
• Conduct online insurance eligibility/benefit verification and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
• Notify patient/guarantor, specialist, referring provider, with pertinent information and documentation.
