Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, Texas is seeking an Area Commercial Real Estate Project Manager to oversee real estate operations across a defined cluster of office and R&D sites in the Americas. You will lead real estate transactions, coordinate with brokers and project managers for tenant improvements, and supervise local FM resources via a third-party provider.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, cost estimates, schedules, occupancy planning, and adherence to ESG goals across sites.

Qualifications

• ~10 years experience in real estate and/or facilities management.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or Building Systems Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil).
• Interested in real estate and/or facilities management within office and/or R&D environments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCad, Bluebeam and real estate/FM systems.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel within Region US, Canada and Mexico (~20%) and collaborate globally across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support real estate transaction management by evaluating site requirements and assisting with LOI and lease processes.
• Develop feasibility studies, cost estimates and schedules for tenant improvements.
• Oversee implementation of global workplace strategies and occupancy planning.
• Champion sustainability and compliance at site level with ESG goals.
• Maintain occupancy and utilization reporting and provide regional insights to global Real Estate team.
• Oversee third-party FM provider, review invoices and work order analytics.
• Understand capital vs operational expenses and manage OPEX financials for quarterly budgets.
