Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated seeks an experienced real estate underwriting professional to support pre- and post-closing activities for commercial mortgage loans. You will assist in reviewing appraisals, leases, financial statements, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with closers and counsel to ensure timely, accurate loan processing.

Qualifications

• BS in business, economics, finance or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of investment-related or commercial real estate experience.
• Master’s, MBA is acceptable as an alternative.
• Preferred: CFA or CCIM designation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of credit presentations under the guidance of Underwriting Directors.
• Support market analyses, rent/sales comps, major tenant analyses and lease reviews for Underwriter presentations.
• Review appraisals, environmental reports, leases, and borrower financials to identify risks in new loan investments.
• Coordinate with closers and counsel to ensure loans meet regulatory requirements and terms.
• Maintain loan production data and support reporting to Underwriting Directors and CML team.
• Assist in developing loan ratings by analyzing credit characteristics of new loans.
