Goodman Realty Group is seeking a Real Estate Controller to partner with executive leadership and drive scalable financial processes across a commercial real estate platform.

You will oversee cash management, financial statement prep, and compliance, while supporting development projects and construction accounting with a focus on efficiency and growth. Strong analytical and cross‑functional collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of real estate accounting experience.
• Proficiency in financial statement prep, AP/AR, reconciliations, and general accounting functions.
• Strong analytical skills with process-improvement mindset.
• Yardi proficiency is highly desirable; strong Excel and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements with accuracy and timely reporting.
• Manage cash flow operations including tenant payments, disbursements, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger integrity with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support development projects with budgets, loan requests, and construction accounting.
• Maintain vendor records for 1099 reporting and compliance.
• Prepare or review CAM reconciliations.
• Lead special projects related to financial growth and process improvements.
