Job summary

Cedar Brook is seeking a Real Estate Transaction Lead to manage the escrow closing process for single-family residential transactions nationwide. You will coordinate contracts, title searches, closing documents, and funding while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely communication with all parties.

The role requires 5+ years of residential real estate experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential real estate transaction experience
• Experience reviewing real estate contracts, escrow and title

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate all phases of the real estate escrow closing process, including opening, title searches, closing documents, wire funding, and close/funding coordination.
• Review and analyze real estate contracts and related documents.
• Manage calendars and track key contract dates.
• Input escrow, close and post-close data into the company’s transaction and document management system.
• Ensure all transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Serve as main liaison among parties to resolve escrow/closing issues.
• Provide daily/weekly reporting on closing activities for leadership.
• Coordinate with vendors supporting the transaction process.
• Review and process contract cancellations.
• Work with acquisitions and project managers to secure open items and disclosures.
• Identify and mitigate risks in real estate transactions.
• Implement best practices for transaction management and process improvement.
