Cedar Brook Properties seeks an Associate Counsel to support Real Estate Acquisitions and Asset Operations. You will guide property-level legal issues from acquisition through disposition, collaborate with Cedar Brook leadership, Lakeview Legal, and outside counsel, and manage risk across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires 3+ years of residential real estate experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to translate legal issues into practical business

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of substantive post‑J.D. legal experience.
• Experience advising on real estate, contracts, litigation, or related matters.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary legal contact for day-to-day property-specific legal matters across acquisition, ownership, renovation, and disposition of residential assets.
• Provide practical counsel to business stakeholders and escalate enterprise-level matters as needed.
• Maintain organized records and a centralized tracker of open legal matters.
