Job summary

UNACEM North America seeks a procurement professional to lead the Raw Materials & Fuels category in North America, ensuring competitive conditions and reliable supply. You will manage spend, supplier baselines and contract administration while coordinating with plants and the Sourcing & Inventory team.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement or category management, experience with sourcing events, and proficiency in SAP/Excel, with CPSM/CIPS desirable for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• Three to five years of experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing or supply chain.
• Demonstrated experience running sourcing events and preparing bid comparisons and award recommendations.
• A professional certification such as CPSM or CIPS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain category profiles with spend, volumes, specs, suppliers, contracts and price history.
• Build and update supplier market map; identify sources, capacity, logistics, dynamics.
• Execute the sourcing calendar; plan and run RFQs and awards.
• Prepare bid processes for comparisons and award recommendations.
• Prepare negotiation packs with cost breakdowns, price benchmarks and supplier positioning.
• Participate in negotiations; document terms and secure competitive conditions.
• Administer contracts and framework agreements; track volumes, prices, expiry and renewals.
• Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, service and claims; conduct reviews.
• Manage supplier qualification and onboarding; maintain alternate sources for critical materials.
