Job summary

SNF, a leading specialty chemical group, seeks a Purchasing Manager, Raw Materials, to support polymer production in the United States. You will coordinate procurement of raw materials, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives while complying with policies and regulations.

You will collaborate with Production, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to optimize the supply chain, maintain inventory levels, and drive continuous improvement through ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing chemical raw materials preferred.
• Experience developing strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier contracts.
• ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of inventory management and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies to support production schedules.
• Source and procure raw materials (polymers, monomers, solvents, catalysts).
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and supplier agreements.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers while maintaining relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and cost.
