Job summary

Paycom - ATS Hartsville, SC is seeking a Raw Material Procurement Buyer / Inventory Specialist to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials for production. You will manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, and inventory levels while aligning with production schedules.

Responsibilities include reviewing MRP data, issuing POs, negotiating terms, maintaining accurate ERP records, and minimizing shortages and excess inventory through proactive planning and cross-functional

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
Experience purchasing raw materials or manufacturing components preferred.
Experience with ERP/MRP system such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, or similar.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and analytical/problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Procure raw materials and related components based on demand and production needs.
Review MRP/ERP data and production schedules to determine purchasing needs.
Create and maintain purchase orders with accurate quantities, pricing, and delivery dates.
Monitor open POs and coordinate with suppliers on confirmations, delays, and changes.
Maintain inventory records and support cycle counts and physical inventories.
