Job summary

ProMach is seeking a proactive Buyer to support procurement of materials and supplies for daily operations and production. You will create and manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and help ensure material availability.

The role includes cycle counting and supporting inventory flow across the facility. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (associate or bachelor’s preferred), strong organizational and ERP skills, and a detail-oriented mindset to maintain accurate

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Basic computer skills and experience with ERP, inventory, or purchasing systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with orders, inventory, and records.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing activities, including obtaining quotes, creating purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers.
• Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Process and maintain purchasing records and other related documentation within the ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Support inventory management activities, including receiving, stocking, and tracking materials.
• Work with engineering, production, and other departments to process BOMs and ensure materials are available.
• Assist with stockroom operations and material flow as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager.
