Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Knowledge of MRP systems, including inventory control, bills of materials, and routing functions.
• Familiar with Lean and 5S principles.

Responsibilities

• Review MRP signal to determine demand and schedule material delivery dates.
• Purchase raw materials, MRO, and other non-raw material items.
• Maintain files and records on all open and closed purchase orders.
• Drive down lead time with our supply base to reduce inventory levels.
• Negotiate with non-raw material suppliers to maintain or lower pricing.
• Ensure material pull systems (kanbans) are maintained and improved.
• Support on time delivery and inventory goals.
• Attend cross-functional meetings as needed.
