Job summary

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in quoting within manufacturing, strong cost-math skills, ERP/MRP experience, and excellent communication for internal and customer collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of quoting, estimating, or sales support in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate costs, margins, and lead times.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for custom and standard products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze customer specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems and other software to calculate costs, lead times, and pricing.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quote status, revisions, and technical details.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within the quoting process.
• Maintain detailed records of all quotes, including revisions and customer communications.
