Qualifications

• 2+ years in quoting/estimating/sales support within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for accurate cost calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal/external collaboration.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for customers based on specifications.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and quoting tools.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quote status, inquiries, and revisions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest alternative materials or processes.
• Review and interpret customer requests for proposals (RFPs) and RFQs.
