Job summary

Foundation Building Materials is seeking a Quoting Coordinator to manage day-to-day quoting, pricing strategy, and execution across branches. You will collaborate with Outside Sales, Sales Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and vendors to deliver accurate, timely price quotes that support sales commitments.

The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical capability, independent judgment, and the ability to handle multiple quotes simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in sales support, quoting, pricing coordination, estimating, or a related role.

Responsibilities

• Review customer pricing requests and bid opportunities with Outside Sales Representatives.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive price quotes aligned with project scope and margin objectives.
• Manage revisions and re-quotes as project requirements change.
• Provide pricing feedback to sales leadership based on vendor input and market dynamics.
• Evaluate pricing risk, profitability, and competitive positioning when developing quotes.
• Coordinate RFQs with vendors to secure pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Maintain pricing matrices and CRM entries for accurate project records.
• Manage project pricing setup and coordination with purchasing and operations.
• Attend sales and pricing meetings to provide quoting insights and post-sale support for discrepancies.
• Ensure quotes and revisions are auditable and compliant with internal controls.
