Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Analyst, Pursuit Operations to organize and coordinate complex business development pursuits and proposal activities. You will manage schedules, trackers, and milestone calendars to ensure teams meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly across proposal, pricing, operations, and sales teams, and leverages AI tools to improve reporting and action tracking for higher pursuit efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of experience or equivalent.
Experience organizing and maintaining pursuit schedules, logs, trackers, and risk registers.
Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across multiple contributors.
Proficiency with AI-enabled tools to summarize updates and improve tracking.

Responsibilities

Support pursuit readiness by maintaining schedules, trackers, and workstream materials.
Maintain workplans, action-item logs, decision trackers, milestone calendars, risk registers, and status reports.
Track owner assignments, due dates, dependencies, open items, and follow-up actions.
Monitor milestones, flag risks, and escalate barriers to leadership as needed.
Coordinate questions, meetings, reminders, and follow-ups across teams.
Prepare concise status updates with progress, deadlines, risks, decisions, and next steps.
Use AI-enabled tools to summarize updates and improve follow-up efficiency.
