Burns & McDonnell seeks a Pursuit Strategy Specialist in Kansas City to lead pursuit development and proposal marketing for the Construction Global Practice. You will coordinate market research, value propositions, and pre-RFP collateral, while shaping client-focused strategies and managing sponsorships and events.

The role requires strong writing, presentation, and InDesign skills, experience with Shipley or APMP methods, and collaboration across global teams to win opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field with 4 years experience in pursuit, marketing, business development, or sales in a professional services firm.
• Experience with Shipley best practice model preferred.
• APMP certification preferred or equivalent; strong technical writing and communication skills; InDesign proficiency preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop client-focused strategies and action plans to respond to client challenges and gain work.
• Direct business development teams in opening and middle game activities including market research and competitor analysis.
• Coordinate sponsorships, attendance tracking, project and individual award submissions, committee nominations, speaking engagement submissions, and presentation development.
• Lead program management for events, brochures, collateral and collaborate across global practice and regional teams.
• Develop and maintain proposals, statements of qualifications, boilerplate content, brand materials, brochures, and related marketing resources.
• Create and update graphics and marketing collateral using InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint.
• Create and update professional resumes and train team members to support ongoing resume development and maintenance.
