Job summary

Accenture is seeking a proposals-focused professional to lead end-to-end development of RFx responses and related pursuit materials. You’ll coordinate with business development, technical teams, and SMEs to craft compelling, compliant submissions across time zones.

You’ll manage multiple proposals with overlapping deadlines, ensuring quality, brand alignment, and timely delivery. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in proposals are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications or related field – or qualified relevant experience in lieu of a formal education.
• 3–5 years of experience managing proposals for State, Local, and Higher Education clients (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of responses to RFx, interview materials, shortlist presentations, and pursuit deliverables from kickoff through completion.
• Manage multiple concurrent proposals and tasks with overlapping deadlines across time zones with minimal supervision.
• Review solicitation documents to identify compliance requirements, evaluation criteria, submission instructions, risks, required forms, and key deadlines.
• Develop pursuit schedules, outlines, content plans, writing templates, and production timelines for on-time submissions.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings to confirm pursuit strategy, win themes, and team roles.
• Lead proposal development with business development, technical teams, and SMEs to tailor content for proposals.
• Contribute to pre-proposal activities and campaigns supporting pursuit positioning.
• Write, edit, and organize proposal content for clarity, persuasiveness, and compliance.
• Conduct color team reviews and ensure submission quality and compliance.
• Direct the quality and success of bids, tracking milestones and debrief findings.
• Lead post-submission reviews to capture improvements and client feedback.
• Maintain and improve proposal tools, templates, and checklists.
• Promote consistent processes and continuous improvement across the pursuit team.
