Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support operations by ordering materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and tracking shipments to the warehouse.

You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms with the legal team, manage purchase orders, and collaborate with warehousing to ensure adequate stock levels. This on-site role in Pennsylvania offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating suppliers (price, quality, availability, reliability)
• Strong negotiation with vendors and contracts
• Knowledge of inventory tracking and procurement processes

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of supplier requirements and ensures processes are followed
• Evaluates suppliers on price, quality, availability, reliability, and other criteria
• Interviews vendors and visits suppliers’ facilities to learn about products, services and pricing
• Requests cost proposals and negotiates contracts with legal input
• Utilizes inventory tracking system to record stock levels and anticipate needs
• Verifies purchases against a master list and recommends alternatives
• Coordinates delivery times and resolves shipping issues
• Prepares and processes purchase orders and maintains records
• Collaborates with warehousing to maintain stock levels
