SPATCO in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Purchasing Agent who will place orders, expedite back orders for stock and nonstock equipment and parts, and research products while clarifying specifications to protect quality and profitability.

Under supervision of the Purchasing Manager, you will audit inventories, manage vendor relationships, maintain pricing files, document purchase orders in SAP, and ensure timely deliveries across branches with clear communications.

Qualificações

• Two years' experience as a buyer or equivalent.
• Accurate typing skills and knowledge of purchasing law.
• Effective communication with sales reps and staff.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Place orders, expedite back orders for stock and nonstock equipment/parts, and create purchase orders.
• Research products and analyze alternative lines to increase profitability while maintaining quality.
• Assist with auditing and processing inventories for branches.
• Work under supervision of the Purchasing Manager and document purchasing activities.
• Maintain vendor information, pricing files, and communicate delivery dates across departments.
• Setup and maintain parts data and pricing in SAP.
