You will negotiate cost and lead times, manage supplier relationships, and assist quoting for proposals. The role emphasizes coordination with warehouse and other departments, ERP data entry, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills.

• Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform light physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
• Research potential suppliers and compare price, delivery, etc.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
• Evaluate quotes from suppliers and negotiate pricing.
• Work with relevant departments to align purchases with customer needs.
• Maintain records of Purchase Orders and Quotes.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm or change orders.
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure goods arrive with required documentation.
• Support quoting for prototype material and production pricing.
