Omni Technologies is a leading design and manufacturing firm that supplies custom urethane parts to OEMs. The Purchasing and Procurement Specialist independently coordinates the purchase of raw materials, components, outside processing, supplies, and services required to support manufacturing operations.

This role manages purchase orders and supplier relationships, evaluates pricing and lead times, monitors inventory needs, expedites materials to meet production schedules and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a manufacturing environment with purchasing and procurement.
• Experience using ERP/MRP and managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, verify, and maintain purchase orders for materials and services.
• Review requirements, BOMs, and supplier lead times to plan purchases.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Monitor open orders, expedite shortages, and communicate risks.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Estimating and Sales for supplier quotations on proposals.
• Analyze purchasing costs and identify savings opportunities.
• Prepare purchasing reports and provide status updates to leadership.
