Job summary

OmniCable, LLC is seeking a Buyer to join its Supply Chain/Purchasing department in the United States. The role manages distribution and inventory levels for key product lines nationwide, including vendor relationships, price negotiations, and order placement to support KPI targets such as inventory turns and service levels.

The successful candidate will analyze sales trends, maintain IMS data, and collaborate with sales teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day procurement activities to support company-wide inventory management needs
• Product system maintenance in Inventory Management System (IMS)
• Maintaining S&OP reporting to manage inventory to appropriate levels and achieve turns targets
• Establish working relationships with existing vendors
• Report on key inventory KPI’s
• Vendor price negotiation
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
• Collaborate with other functions / departments to ensure all inventory needs are met at each branch location
