Job summary

Excelsior Nutrition Inc. is seeking a Buyer Specialist to manage supplier relationships and ensure a smooth flow of goods from sourcing to delivery. You will negotiate prices, coordinate launches, and collaborate across departments to optimize the supply chain.

The role requires 3–5 years in strategic sourcing, experience with ERP systems, and strong mathematical, communication, and organizational skills under pressure. Fluency in a second language (Mandarin preferred) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, STEM or related field.
• 2nd language fluency preferred (Mandarin).
• 3–5 years in strategic sourcing, category or vendor management.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility environment.
• Experience with ERP or other manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers to land profitable deals.
• Negotiate prices for raw materials and delivery.
• Participate in product development and line changes.
• Coordinate product launches and extensions.
• Analyze logistics data to refine the supply chain.
• Communicate with suppliers and distributors.
• Protect brand image and reliability.
• Foster growth-oriented supply chain practices.
• Manage purchase orders and shipping schedules.
• Collaborate with Receiving to identify order discrepancies.
• Update order records and reporting.
• Support purchasing manager on special projects.
