Job Overview

Join a global leader in nutrition and wellness as a Senior Purchasing Specialist supporting direct spend categories in ingredients. This role will develop and implement sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, manage contracts, and drive year-over-year cost improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing—while building strong supplier relationships across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for direct spend ingredients.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage contracts to achieve cost and value improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing) to ensure supplier performance and alignment with business needs.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 4–6 years of sourcing/purchasing experience (food ingredients required)
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• ERP/SAP and MS Office proficiency
• Willingness to travel 15–20%
