Job summary

Excelsior Nutrition Inc. is seeking a Buyer Specialist to manage supplier relationships and ensure a smooth flow of goods from sourcing to delivery. You will negotiate prices, coordinate launches, and collaborate across departments to optimize the supply chain.

The role requires 3–5 years in strategic sourcing, experience with ERP systems, and strong mathematical, communication, and organizational skills under pressure. Fluency in a second language (Mandarin preferred) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, STEM or related field.
• 2nd language fluency preferred (Mandarin).
• 3–5 years in strategic sourcing, category or vendor management.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility environment.
• Experience with ERP or other manufacturing software.

The Purchasing / Buyer Specialist will be involved in handling the flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that a business can efficiently source raw materials, manufacture products, store inventory, and transport shipments. The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible in negotiating business relationships and communicating with suppliers and distributors in fast-paced contract manufacturer of nutraceuticals and dietary supplements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
• 2. Negotiate prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, STEM Major or related fields
• 2. Familiarity of fluency with a 2nd language, preferably Mandarin
• 3. At least 3-5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, category management and/or vendor management
• 4. Preferred experience in a similar position for a manufacturing facility
• 5. Experience in ERP or other manufacturing software
• 6. Advance mathematical, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
• 7. Can work under pressure and keep high work quality
