Job summary

J&B Industrial Services seeks a Purchasing Specialist to manage PO entry, supplier coordination, and post-entry supply chain tracking. You will interact with both foreign and domestic suppliers to maintain pricing and delivery schedules and act as the liaison between supply and demand orders.

Responsibilities include precise PO entry, data analysis for inventory, and maintaining supplier price lists while resolving invoice discrepancies and expediting orders as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of related purchasing experience.
• Experience with metals, alloys, and casting products.
• Strong understanding of manufactured/engineered components.
• Knowledge of Foreign Trade Zone regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Enter, prove and maintain purchase orders with accuracy.
• Analyze data to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Maintain supplier price lists and supplier invoices.
• Expedite orders; resolve discrepancies in PO data.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams for timely order processing.
• Prepare and present purchase order updates at production meetings.
