Job summary

J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. (JBPCO) is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support category strategy, drive cost optimization, and ensure on-time delivery of assigned products.

The role collaborates with Category Directors, Category Managers, and cross-functional teams, reporting to the Director of Indirect Materials. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field.
• 3–5 years in supply chain, sourcing, procurement and supplier management.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI.
• ERP/MRP experience, JD Edwards preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; CPIM/CSCP/CPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run benchmark studies and analyze data to support strategic sourcing.
• Maintain vendor catalogs on the e-procurement platform.
• Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Track spend, regional procurement, and cross-functional reviews.
• Prepare and execute E-auctions for direct and indirect commodities.
• Develop processes and reporting to drive procurement efficiencies.
• Support TCO reduction initiatives and data-driven process improvement.
• Identify gaps and improve data analysis to optimize workflows.
