Accredited Labs in Frederick, MD is seeking a Purchasing Agent to procure materials and services for manufacturing and calibration labs. You will manage supplier relationships, evaluate quotations, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining documentation for accreditation.

The role requires relevant education and 3+ years in purchasing, with strong negotiation, ERP proficiency, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of three years in purchasing or materials management.
• Experience with supplier management and purchase orders.
• Ability to read specifications and supplier quotes.
• Strong negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Procure materials, equipment, and services to support manufacturing and calibration labs.
• Review inventory, forecasts, and lead times to determine needs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate purchase orders with specs and delivery terms.
• Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Monitor open orders and resolve issues affecting production or labs.
• Source new suppliers and monitor performance to reduce risk.
• Ensure compliance with technical, quality, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain procurement records in ERP systems.
