Job summary

Backburner Labs, Inc is seeking a hands-on Buyer in Saint Paul to own purchasing, inventory, and supplier management as the company scales. You will source from domestic and international suppliers, place and track POs, and coordinate with CFO and engineering to keep costs visible and projects supplied.

In this role you will manage inventory, partner with the CFO on terms, and ensure timely delivery while balancing prototype buys and production orders. This is an on-site role in St.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on purchasing supporting engineering, manufacturing, or hardware products.
• Hands-on inventory experience: receiving, cycle counts, ERP reconciliation.
• Clear communication and ability to move many orders without losing details.

Responsibilities

• Source components from domestic and international suppliers and manage quotes and POs.
• Create and track purchases from request to delivery, expediting as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, run cycle counts, and manage ERP transactions.
• Coordinate shipping and logistics for timely builds.
