Job summary

SK hynix America is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our United States team onsite. You will manage procurement for raw materials and finished goods, negotiate with vendors, and coordinate shipments to optimize costs while ensuring accurate inventory and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with strong English communication and independent work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain role
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes for raw materials and finished goods.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to optimize costs.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and trucking companies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and adjustments.
• Prepare import/export documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Production) for seamless operations
• Provide regular supply chain reports and updates to management.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
