Job summary

InSpec Solutions, LLC is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier relationships, source new products, and oversee purchase orders from creation to delivery, ensuring terms meet quality and schedule requirements.

Work with internal teams to analyze needs, optimize inventory, maintain accurate purchasing records, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing past buying trends, sales records, and market data to determine best value.
• Ability to secure favorable terms from suppliers and negotiate price, quality, and delivery.
• Clear, concise communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure PO/invoice precision.
• Knowledge of automated purchasing systems and ERP platforms.
• Aided by strong problem-solving skills, diagnose and resolve procurement issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Sourcing & Negotiation: Researching and sourcing new products and suppliers, and negotiating favorable terms on quality, price, and delivery schedules.
• Purchase Order Processing: Creating, issuing, and tracking purchase orders, and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise with deliveries.
• Bidding & Contracting: Preparing bid packages, receiving and analyzing competitive bids, and recommending awards.
• Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintaining accurate and updated purchasing records, including pricing and order status, and preparing necessary reports.
• Needs Analysis: Conferring with internal departments to understand their needs and ensuring that purchased items meet specifications and budgetary requirements.
• Inventory Support: Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries to meet operational needs.
• Compliance: Ensuring that all purchasing activities comply with established company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
