Job summary

PTC is seeking a Procurement Buyer to audit requisitions across multiple plants and ensure accurate item specifications. You will secure competitive bids from multiple vendors and negotiate favorable terms to maximize value and on-time delivery.

The role requires degree in business administration, purchasing experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. You will work in a manufacturing environment with responsibilities spanning vendor management and cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Purchasing experience preferred.
• Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Audit purchase requisitions for proper approvals and specs.
• Obtain quotations from at least three vendors and ensure consistent bidding bases.
• Negotiate terms to achieve best price, quality, and delivery.
• Process requisitions and purchase orders; manage changes and supplier records.
• Support vendor evaluations, cost-reduction initiatives, and compliance with policies.
