Job summary

Reliant Systems, Inc. is seeking a Buyer (DPM) to procure materials, services and raw stock for manufacturing operations. You will evaluate options, manage vendors, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining vendor relationships and contracts.

The role requires experience in purchasing within a manufacturing environment, knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams. Some extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate price, quality, service and lead time to buy best option.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
• Address quality issues, late deliveries or improvements with vendors.
• Research and evaluate new vendors.
• Communicate purchase requests and delivery expectations.
• Maintain master files in the operating system/ERP.
• Follow internal procedures and maintain standards.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Collaborate with supervisor on progress.
