Job summary

S.C. Swiderski (SCS) is seeking a Purchasing Manager in Mosinee, WI to lead daily purchasing operations, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing for construction, property management, and corporate needs.

The role drives value, reduces total cost, and supports project schedules with cross-functional collaboration. You will oversee a team of buyers, clerks, and specialists, coordinating with project management, finance, and operations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, construction management, operations, finance, or related field.
• Five+ years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with competitive bidding, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, logistics, material planning, or construction/project purchasing.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily purchasing operations across construction, property operations, maintenance, and other spend categories.
• Develop sourcing plans for high-spend categories and coordinate demand across departments.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, terms, and total cost of ownership with suppliers.
• Oversee project buyouts, long-lead item planning, and bid coordination.
• Coordinate PO processing, logistics, and warehouse support with relevant teams.
• Track procurement KPIs and ensure audit readiness with Finance and Accounting.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional procurement team.
