Job summary

SCS, a Mosinee, Wisconsin-based developer, seeks a Purchasing Manager to lead day-to-day purchasing, strategic sourcing, and supplier relations across construction, maintenance, and operations.

You will supervise Buyers, Clerks, Logistics, Warehouse, and Bid Specialists while driving bids, pricing negotiations, and cost controls to protect schedules and margins. Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in purchasing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 5+ years in purchasing/procurement.
• Experience with competitive bidding, supplier negotiations, POs, and logistics.
• ERP/purchasing systems experience required; construction/real estate exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily purchasing operations across construction, operations, and maintenance.
• Develop sourcing plans, coordinate demand, and manage supplier selections.
• Oversee project buys, bids, long-lead items, and vendor documentation.
• Oversee PO processing, logistics, warehouse coordination, and cycle times.
• Track savings, bid activity, and KPI reporting; ensure audit readiness.
